Now that’s it ended, Vogue UK is looking back at the best moments, designers and models of London Fashion Week. It was a tight race but Christopher Kane beat out Burberry for the best hair and makeup. The best models were to be found at the Osman show. Sessilee Lopez was the model du jour. The most upbeat show award went to Paul Smith where colourful colours, blue lipstick and fabulous music reigned supreme. The best goodie bag was to be found at Christopher Kane which included Godiva chocolates, Tigi hair products and Gossip Girl season two. The best moment is the now infamous shot of Anna Wintour freezing out Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldolf at the Twenty8Twelve show. In case you missed it, the picture can be found here. The rest of the moments can be found here.

Twilight fans look out! The men’s biannual fashion mag, AnOther Man is featuring vampire hottie Robert Pattinison on its cover in a heros and villains themed-issue. The issue goes on sale 1st of October in the UK but in case you cannot get it, DazedDigital has a preview. Inside the feature with photographs by Hedi Silmane, the 23-year-old talks about the pressure of fame, the Twihards (the loyal fans of the saga who border between ardent and crazy) and the craft of acting. Other features in the magazine include an interview with Dennis Hopper and the new John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy.

Fabulous shoe giant Jimmy Choo has unveiled Choo 24/7. It’s a capsule collection of the 28 most classic and popular styles with updated colours and finishes. If you ever had a dream about owning a pair of classic Choos then this is the deal for you. But be warned, these works of art won’t be any cheaper than their counterparts. Jimmy Choo president Tamara Mellon rationalizes that by mentioning “We think of these shoes are investment pieces, timeless pieces, part of a wardrobe that every woman needs.” If the collection goes well, it will be extended to include boots too.

When it comes to faking it, I’m all for confidence, hair colour and eyelashes. Fake bags however put a sour taste in my mouth. So I was thrilled when Vogue UK reported that auction site eBay was ordered to pay damages to LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA for allowing the sale of fake goods. LVMH is a French holding company for the world’s largest luxury conglomerates. This group of 60 plus include Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Givenchy and Marc Jacobs. A French court has ruled that eBay need to cough up 80 000 euros for the sale of fake LVMH fragrances. This is the second time eBay has been forced to pay up. In June of this year, they were ordered to compensate LVMH 38 million euros for similar counterfeit sales.

BY GREEN EYES

The team at Glamour.com are reporting on their favourite trends from the latest bout of fashion shows. Neutral tones are going to be huge and one way to wear them, as seen at the Rachel Roy show, is all-in-one grey. Try pairing different shades of grey to create office chic or girl-about-town looks. I’d accessorize with statement necklaces or peep-toe heels in purple or cobalt blue. The Marc by Marc Jacobs show showcased another big trend: the polka dots. Polka dots are going to be the stripes of the season. Instead of just sticking to the common black and white, invest in some colourful dots in skirts, femine blouses and summer dresses. Heading to the beach? Don some Proenza Schouler. Designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough sent some tie dye dresses down the runway that screamed cocktails, Havianas and oversized sunglasses.

The 61st Primetime Emmys took place last night. Ask me who won what and I’ll be mute. Ask me who was best dressed and I’ll talk like it was my day job. The ladies of the small screen did not disappoint. My favourite has to be Private Practice star Kate Walsh in a pale grey dress by J Mendel. Ladies rocking the purple included Ginnifer Goodwin in Yves Saint Laurent, Lindsay Price also in J Mendel and Padma Lashmi. The stars of Gossip Girl, Blake Lively and Leighton Meester worked stunning in a red Versace and white Grecian Bottega Veneta respectively.

London Fashion Week is pumping. The Telegraph is reporting on all the celebs spotted this week. Sir Bob Geldof was spotted at Luella Bartley with daughters Peaches and Pixie on either side. Kanye West and girlfriend Amber Rose are all over LFW, with Giles Deacon being the rapper’s favourite show so far. At Vivienne Westwood’s show, Pixie Geldof was again in appearance this time as a model along with Daisy Lowe. The front row consisted of members of pop band Girls Aloud, Boy George; the uber-cool Alexa Chung who was also spotted at the TopShop show. Veteran model Naomi Campbell, who I still cannot believe is only 39 she looks amazing, walked the Issa show which was watched by Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

Mark Fast got some great publicity ahead of his London Fashion Week show. The designer decided to make a statement by sending plus-sized models down the runway instead of the size zero models normally favoured. According to Fashionista the decision led to ripples in the design team. Apparently the show’s stylist was a mean girl to the bigger girls and they were forced to fire her. Another staff member was so outraged by the decision, they quit. Freelance stylist Daniela Agnelli stepped in to help at the last minute.
