You are more than welcome to send through a relevant photo to accompany your piece, but please make sure you have the rights to it.
It would be much appreciated if your contribution takes the guidelines below into account.
Contributor guidelines:
1. Contributions should be fresh, intelligently argued and well written. Opinion pieces submitted should be between 250 and 800 words. Contributions to the Creative Corner can be between 100 and 2000 words.
2. The Soapbox does not allow plagiarism. Please attribute your sources if you are quoting something.
3. The Soapbox will not publish racist or sexist writing or allow hate speech (or incitement to violence).
4. If you are quoting facts, please be as accurate as possible.
5. The Soapbox will not publish defamatory content.
6. The editor reserves the right to edit and/or reject contributions submitted.
7. The Soapbox uses Standard English. Please use slang and swear-words sparingly.
