There must be something in the Cape Town air that breeds dreamers. And maybe it’s the mountain that makes these dreams come true. But there’s definitely a certain something about Cape Town that allows you to live your dreams in your everyday reality.  It obviously takes hard work, a little blood, some sweat and an endless sea of tears but with their laid back attitudes Capetonians take this in their ever so cool strides. No one is proving this theory better than 20 something’s. They were born at the end of a political struggle that makes challenges seem minimal compared to their parents and live in their skins because it’s theirs.

Together with Trephine photography I have comprised a series of interviews appropriately called “Cape Town’s 20 something dreamers”. The series features up-and-coming 20 something’s born and bred Capetonians that are living and loving an everyday dream that some of us might call jobs.
