The Soapbox has now been live for a week!
A big thank you to all our contributors who have taken the time and effort to put fingers to keyboard and speak out about the issues on their mind. With this third issue of fresh opinion, we have an ANC supporter’s post-election analysis, a look at the schizophrenic state of restaurant franchises and an exploration of the booming US arms trade by Charles Lemos, a blogger based in San Francisco. We also have a probing look at racial identity and the cultural dilemmas faced by the “born-frees”, all of whom have not experienced apartheid but live with its legacy.
